Rachel Hibbs, DPT, ATP is a clinical research therapist in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She earned a B.S. in Rehabilitation Science and certificate in Pathokinesiology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010 and completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh in 2013. She has spent the majority of her clinical career in the Spinal Cord Injury inpatient rehabilitation setting, with particular focus on seating, mobility, and community reintegration. Her clinical and research interests include seating and wheeled mobility, postural control, ambulation in incomplete SCI, and upper limb preservation in primary wheelchair users.
